While it might seem like a FREE $90,000,000.00 PENTHOUSE may be an opportunity, it does not interest President Putin. He might be able to use it as a complimentary show of respect for the convenience of visiting foreign dignitaries to Moscow. However, Putin, himself, is very comfortable, and very secure in the Kremlin, a golden guilt palace built with a history that goes back to the second century and completed by Ivan the Terrible. Why would he allow and American named Trump put his name on the tallest glass skyscraper on Moscow?
President Putin is more interested in restoring his country’s heritage by recapturing the the great sea port on the Black Sea for his navy. What Catherine the Great called her southern “Window to the Sea”. He orchestrated that move following the Sochi 2014 Winter Games, with the invasion of the southern Ukraine. Now his eye is still on the ancient capital of Russia, Kiev. And yes, Kiev is now the capital of the Ukraine. To date, Putin has tried every political, economic, means to subvert the Ukraine and weaken it for a takeover.
The only thing that is standing in his way is western sanctions for his previous territorial invasion, NATO, and the #Magnitsky Act, signed into law by President Barack Obama in December 2012, intending to punish Russian officials responsible for the death of Russian tax accountant Sergei Magnitsky in a Moscow prison in 2009.
Since 2016 the bill, also took into account the Russian invasion, it applies globally, and authorizes the US government to sanction who it sees as human rights offenders, freezing their assets, and ban them from entering the U.S.
Who is Vladimir Putin? Putin himself is the supreme oligarch. According to Forbes magazine, who analyzed his known assets, Putin is worth a minimum of of $40 Billion. (There is even speculation that Putin is worth more than Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates combined.). No one knows his exact worth. We do know that he owns or controls at least 20 palaces, that have to be minimally staffed with housekeeping, grounds keeping and security at all times. He has art works worth millions. Financially he own 37% of #Surgutneftgaz an oil and natural gas company, 4.5% of #Gazprom (maybe the largest natural gas company in the world.) and he is on the Board of Directors of a dozen companies. However, he does not have to attend any annual meetings and still gets paid.
Why is Vladimir Putin so against the US? Valdimir Putin studied law (this would be an undergraduate curriculum in Europe and Russia)at St Petersburg State University. His undergraduate thesis was focused on international law and trade. He applied or was was recruited by the KGB in 1975. He celebrated with because this was his opportunity to serve the USSR. He then attended and trained at The Red Banner Institute in Moscow. Sort of like a military graduate school for spies and intelligence officers. Later back in St. Petersburg he continued his studies in interrogation, counter-intelligence and Judo. He graduated as a First lieutenant in 1976. In 1985 Major Putin was transferred to Dresden to allegedly be a German translator, however his primary mission was counter-intelligence, foreign surveillance, and secretly steal documents and technology. He also became familiar with how to compromise western visitors.
Lieutenant Colonel Putin received the scare of his life as he defended his KGB headquarters in 1989. He stood on the entrance steps brandishing a pistol as East Germany and the might of the USSR fell to the economic pressures of the West, mostly President Reagan. The KGB headquarters in Dresden was ransacked and burned.
This memory is seared into his mind. He is still a cagey KGB agent. He rules a country where often might is right. The Russian mafia is allowed to co-exist in society, prostitution is a victimless crime and gay basing is a norm. Fraud is prevalent and money laundering by the mafia and oligarchs is common. In addition, President Putin still likes to keep close tabs on all foreign visitors. From my own personal experience, I can vouch for tales that there are specific westerner hotels, built by Russian contractors that have unusual electrical specifications. Westerners must stay at these designated hotels. Count on the rooms having microphones and the suites to have microphones and cameras in every room. This is part of the Russian state information gathering net.
So, why would President Vladimir Putin be interested in a $90 million Trump Tower condo? He has over 20 palaces, the Kremlin, 58 aircraft and more at his personal disposal. He hates what the West for what they done to the USSR. He was prepared to die for his beloved USSR and its ideals in Dresden. President Putin has been and is now using all his intelligence and counter-intelligence skills to weaken the USA, NATO and all western countries.
The final aim of “The Ringmaster of geo-political chaos,” President Vladimir Putin and his Deputy Prime Minister “Captain Chaos” Dimitry Rogozin (See Part IV, The Russians) is to restore the USSR to its former glory. By re-capturing the Black Sea port and shipyard of Sevastopol, Russia has gained better access to the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic and the Suez canal. The attempt to recapture eastern Ukraine has been halted, at least temporarily, The Baltic countries: Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia are NATO allies, but very vulnerable, especially with a weakened NATO.
